  How I Save ₹8,400 on School Fees Every Year School fees are one expense no one can avoid. My child's quarterly school fee is ₹60,000, which means ₹2.4 lakh every year. So I started wondering: can I get something back from an expense I have to make anyway? Turns out, yes. I pay through the Tata Neu app using my HDFC Tata Neu Infinity RuPay Credit Card. Here's exactly how the math works. My Calculation Particular Amount Quarterly school fee ₹60,000 5% reward ₹3,000 Convenience fee @ 1.5% −₹900 Net benefit per payment ₹2,100 Payments per year 4 Annual benefit ₹8,400 The important number is the net benefit: ₹2,100 per payment, not the headline 5%.
