I cant even buy a bottle of whiskey with this

This incidence happenned to me and my friend in 2012.
I used to go to Paradeep in Odisha for official purposes once in a month. This one time me and my colleague(who
is a good friend) were travelling in Bhubneshwar Rajdhani from Cuttack to New Delhi.
We had one more colleague with us which we didnt know was travelling and was sitting 10 seats next to us. After nearly 2 hours from cuttack he came to us and started asking about Tatkal ticket rules. We told him all the things we knew but he was not satisfied.
After asking so many questions, he told us that he is not carrying the ID he used to book tatkal tickets . (it was the then tatkal train booking rule that you have to show the original ID which you have used to book the ticket ). We asked him to sit with us so that we all can talk to TT if something happens.
TT came to our seat after 3 4 hours when we 3 were watching a movie on laptop. We showed him our tickets but he caught that guy.
He : Sir i have forgotten the same ID in my office in photocopy machine.
TT : i dont care. you dont have the ID, it means you dont have the ticket.
HE : but sir i am carrying the ticket.
TT: i dont care. Your new ticket will be made.
HE(nearly crying): i am not carrying that much money with me .
TT: okay then get down on the next station. i will give the seat to some one else.
Me and my friend were listening to it and were shocked to hear that as new the tatkal ticket in 2AC costs nearly Rs 4000/- .
Then we started persuading him and requested him to leave him and indulged him in talks so that we can negotiate with him. After about 30 minutes of persuation, he told us to manage the cash as he will return after checking all the other seats.
He came to our seats again at around 730 pm. Meanwhile we have asked the guy not to come to our seats and we will manage.
TT: where is your friend.
ME: sir, he is shit scared. and we are not carrying that money. help him. he is going to delhi for some family emergency.
TT: my duty is my duty. i have to do what i am supposed to .
ME : we understand. but sir he is unable. we can find a middle way.
while saying i asked him to join with us and enjoy the snacks.
We started sharing various non sense talks to indulge him and to negotiate. we kept him busy form like 45 minutes and finally he agreed that he wont do anything but::
TT: what my benefit
ME: sir what can we do for you?
TT : i think i should get 50% of the ticket.
we negotiated again and finally we gave him Rs 1200/- as bribe so that he dont do anything.
After taking cash and while leaving he taunted us by saying:
with this i cant even buy a bottle of whiskey but i will manage.
Now i recheck all the documents before travelling to avoid these kind of incidences.

I work in one of the leading banks of India and major part of my work is either done on laptop or in meetings which means I stay indoors all the time of the day. But 9 hours of sitting job in a cubicle including 30 minutes of lunch was not the thing for me. No one in my office had time to talk to each other or share anything.
