Following my two passions - Travel and Writing

I want to share two completely different scenarios happened on my one trip: A.    Scenario 1 - It was our 4 th day of travel to leh ladakh on our enfields. We were crossing the ladakh valley and were currently in the Rumtse village. People told me that it will be very difficult to ride your bike for so long but it was going very well for us. The best parts of the trip until then were the landscapes and the people. Every village we used to cross, kids used to come out of their homes after listening to the thumps of our enfields. All of them waved us with beautiful smiles on their faces. While riding, we hi5 with them and we used to get really happy after that. What made us happier was the indulgence of their parents. Even they joined their kids in waving us, smiled to us & gave us hi5. Whenever we stopped for some snacks, we used our every minute in talking to the people and playing with the kids. B.    Scenario 2 - It was our 9 th day of the trip and we we

Heavy sound of the thunder woke me up and the complete darkness of my room scared me. I came out of my room and saw my mother reading with the emergency lights and I said “oh man! I can’t even watch TV now” . Heavy rain, lightening & hailstorm were happening continuously since last night which led to the power cut from the morning. It felt like I was trapped in my own house & was totally bored of studying & sleeping and my mom was bored of making food for me. My dad was out with my other siblings to my aunt’s place for my cousin’s wedding and we could not go because of the test I had the next day. He requested my school authorities to postpone the test but they were very stringent on it. So anyways, with broken heart I had to stay home and study for the test. We lived in an old style home with the kitchen in the backyard and a big veranda between our dining room & the kitchen. The veranda had a water pump and a little garden with flowers & small trees.
